Our first time at Darren’s. I the food was served hot and fresh and very tasty. The service was spectacular! I love the neighborhood vibe. I will definitely visit again when I come back to Dallas.
We have driven by for a long time. Then a friend asked us to meet them there for lunch. Now we are kicking ourselves for not checking it out a long time ago. It's hard to find good meatloaf. Not any more. It was not my mother's meatloaf but it sure put me back at home with my fond memories of Sunday diner. Stop by and check out there entire menu offerings. You won't be unhappy. It's a small cozy place to kick back relax and enjoy some of the best comfort food in the area.
I definitely recommend eating here. The staff was exceptional. The food was cooked to perfection! I had the veggie omelet with hash browns and toast. It was so delicious. Update 7/21/22 We haven't been here in a while, this is the first night we've been able to have a family dinner out. Darren doesn't disappoint!! Got the rib special, steak fingers and fish n chips. Everything was super delicious. If you haven't tried this wonderful place yet I definitely recommend you should.
Such a down to home atmosphere and the wait staff greet you with kind welcomes as you walk in the door. Food is reasonable and exceptional portions. Has Charlie playing his guitar Friday Saturday and Sunday. Come experience for yourself:)
Howdy! Absolutely love this place. Has all the homey vibes Foods soo daaaamn good. My favorite is the Hamburger steak with no onions of course. Whatever you do, don't sleep on those bacon wrapped Jalapenos. Omg they are amazing. Breakfast is offered til 2:30 on Sundays so brunch is a must and you can catch a football game on one of those 7 tvs. Outside seating is available with the nice weather coming up. Vip room also available. Call to check availability. Owner is super sweet and cares about Quality in his products. Give this joint a visit
My wife and I dropped in for the 1st time. Friendly staff, friendly patrons, good food at a reasonable price, in a nice setting. We'll be back. We hear the Prime rib special on Sat nights is great, but we opted for for lighter meals.
I would say this place has one of the best burgers in Dallas. They have some beers on tap and just good fresh food every time I come here. Always happy when I eat here.
I Bought lunch for my husband. He called home to tell me how amazing the burger tasted. It was so easy to order and the got good food out quick and it was cooked to perfection.
